At C.J. Equine, we offer a variety of lesson programs suitable for riders of all levels and ages. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced rider, our professional instructors will provide the guidance you need to improve your skills. Our program focuses on building a strong partnership between horse and rider. We believe in the power of connection and communication, and our instructors are dedicated to helping you achieve harmony with your equine partner.
Basic Riding lessons- Never too old to start never too young to learn. Our riding lessons are tailored to each individual's level of experience, from beginners to advanced riders. We focus on developing a strong foundation in horsemanship and riding techniques in a safe and supportive environment.
Horsemanship and ground work- Not quite ready to just jump on and go? Do you want to learn the basics of handling on the ground and grooming? C.J. Equine we offer friendly instruction on safely handling horses not only in the saddle but as well as on the ground. We strive to teach you everything you need to know when handling your equine partner no matter your age or skill set!
Roping Lessons - If your looking to jump into the fun side of rodeo or just aquire a new skill set you can learn at home we offer beginner roping lessons. While we don't currently offer live cattle we can get you started with the basics and fundamentals on how to swing a rope and catch on the ground. Popularly growing in the youth rodeo world dummy and sled roping has become one of our specialties for our own kids! Setting you or your young ones up for success when ready to move onto live cattle.
Galloping or Pony Lessons- Looking for a new career? Did you know the racetracks are always in demand for gallop and pony people? If your looking to jump into working in the race track industry we have all the knowledge to get you started in the right direction! Galloping thoroughbreds is definitely a different experience then riding any other discipline! At C.J. Equine we are more then happy to help you acquire the knowledge needed and the proper riding techniques to become a licensed exercise rider have a successful career at the race track!
Barrel Racing - With over 30 years of experience and many successful students C.J. Equine has produced many open and youth winning barrel horses and riders! With a strong passion for rodeo we have helped many kids and adults start out in the barrel racing industry and acquire the mindset and skills to become successful! We are willing to travel to your farm within a reasonable distance to work in the comfort of your own facility!
